Your meeting, understood live in both languages. Minutes done before you stand up.

MeetLingua listens in the room through your laptop or speakerphone, shows every line translated big on screen, keeps your notes as you go, and drafts the minutes in both languages the moment you press End.

mom.docx End meeting

One meeting, on its own clock.

Nothing to configure in a dashboard. You open it, choose the languages, and it works the way a good note-taker with an interpreter would, only faster.

Before · 0:00Pick the language, or the pair

Two languages, translated both ways, or one language with no translation at all. Say who you are meeting and what you want out of it; the notes and minutes use it.

Which language(s)?

Two languages — every line translated into the other
One language — the whole meeting in one language, no translation
The other side speaks: Mandarin (Simplified) — 中文(简体)
You speak: English

During · 0:04 → 1:05Read the other side, big and translated

Every finished sentence appears with the translation as the big line, tagged by speaker. Click a tag to name the person. Have the translation spoken aloud into an earphone, or to the room. Ask the meeting a question at any time: “what did they say about the warranty?”

After · End meetingMinutes in both languages, in your inbox

Press End. It finishes the translations, writes the final notes, drafts the minutes, room language first then yours, and exports Word and HTML. One click opens a Gmail draft with the minutes ready to paste. Nothing is sent until you press Send.

Built for the room, not the call.

Meeting note-takers send a bot into your video call and summarise in English afterwards. Interpretation platforms translate live but are priced for conferences. MeetLingua does the live part and the minutes part, from the microphone on the table, at a monthly price.

No bot, no invite, no platform

It listens through the microphone you already have, whether the meeting is across a table, on a site visit, or on any call playing through the laptop. Nobody has to admit a bot.

Two ears, one transcript

It listens for both languages at once, keeps the more confident reading of each line and learns which voice is which, so English words inside a Mandarin sentence come through, and switching mid-sentence does not break it.

Honest about uncertainty

Where the audio was unclear the notes say “(?)” and the minutes say “(to confirm)”. You read before you send. It never invents a decision.

Laptop today, phone next

The web version installs on your phone from the browser, so the phone on the table becomes the microphone and the screen. Coming with the hosted release.

Any two of 29 languages. Or just one.

Pick the pair per meeting. The last choice is remembered. The minutes come in the room's language first, then yours.

What it is, and what it is not.

It is

  • A live scribe and translator for business meetings, built on cloud speech recognition and AI, tuned for Asian and European languages.
  • Built by Aureus Automation in Singapore for our own bank meetings in Jakarta, where nobody on our side speaks Bahasa.
  • Roughly 80–90% word-accurate in a real room with a decent microphone, with a 2–4 second lag. Better with a USB speakerphone, worse with cross-talk.

It is not

  • An interpreter of record. For contracts, court, or medical consent, use a human interpreter; use this to follow along and keep the notes.
  • Offline. Audio streams to the recognition and language services while the meeting runs; the recording is also kept locally so nothing is lost if the network drops.
  • A bot in your call. It never joins a meeting as a participant; you tell the room you are using it, as you would with any recorder.

Questions

Does it work on Zoom, Teams and Google Meet?

Yes, without joining the call. It listens to whatever plays through your laptop, so a call on any platform is transcribed and translated the same way as a room. No bot, no admission prompt.

How do I use it with a speakerphone or in a big room?

Plug in a USB conference speakerphone (a Jabra Speak2 55 covers a table of eight) and it is picked up automatically. The built-in laptop mic is fine for two or three people at a desk.

Which languages can I pair?

Any two of the 29 listed above, in either role. Mandarin ↔ English, Japanese ↔ Korean, Bahasa Indonesia ↔ English, German ↔ French, and so on. Or one language only, with no translation.

Who can see my meetings?

Only you. Audio and text are processed by the speech and language services during the meeting and are not used to train anything. Recordings are kept for 30 days on Solo and Bilingual and one year on Pro, and you can delete a meeting at any time.

What counts as an hour?

Time while it is listening. Pausing does not count. A 45-minute meeting uses 45 minutes, in one language or two.

Can I use it on my phone?

The hosted web version installs from the browser on iPhone and Android and uses the phone's microphone. It ships with the founding release; founding accounts get it first.
